FREE SHIPPING...Our Unlined Double Sole "Ole Maine Comfort Classic" leather moccasin style comes with a leather heel pad added for your comfort. Top Grain Cowhide leather is used for the uppers and a thicker, more durable Bull Hide leather is used for the double sole. A warm Honey colored leather is chosen for this style moccasin sometimes called slippers, house shoe, house slipper, shoes.....whatever you may call them, you will just call them comfortable!
Our double sole leather moccasins are really "triple" soles because we put an extra layer of leather between the moccasin and the stitched on double sole for added comfort. Combining that with great classic looks and craftsmanship it creates a long time friend. There is nothing quite as special as handsewn moccasins.
When choosing a size for your new moccasins, keep in mind our moccasins run pretty true to the size of your dress shoe or everyday street shoe size...not a sneaker, athletic shoe or work boot.
Our moccasins are earthing or grounding friendly. Made in the USA.

These were to be a present, until my new, about a month old, Stafford slippers sole came off. So, I put these on about a week ago, and I haven't worn anything since! A little snug at first, since i got a c width for my skinny foot, but absolutely the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They fit like a glove.

I love these moccasins, very comfortable with no socks and excellent quality. One nice aspect is they don't develop an impossible odor like tennis shoes that have been worn with no socks. Albert Einstein was very quirky and never wore socks with his leather shoes.
I walk 100 miles a month, usually in mocs with no socks on mostly grassy parkways, but some pavement, for the health benefits of grounding (see Dr. Mercola's website). I treat the mocs periodically with melted beeswax and tallow, and double or triple sole mocs will wear through the soles after about 200 miles. Fortunately Town View will resole their moccasins at a very reasonable price. I used to walk in expensive tennis shoes that would last about 500 miles before breaking down and causing foot problems. In theory the moccasins will be cheaper with periodic resoles.
If they get wet from dew I allow them to dry in the absence of heat because heat will make the leather extremely hard, but at room temperature they dry and remain soft and pliable.
Great value for a hardcore walker! Only natural leather, with no foam cushion insert in the sole, will provide grounding to the earth similar to barefoot walking.

I used to buy these mocs from L L. Bean until they quit making them years ago. The mocs from Town View are as good or superior to any others. I wear mine almost daily. If you want quality moccasins made in America, this is the place to go.

I received my moccasins last week and could not be more happy! These are a replacement for my suede Minnetonkas that finally wore through after 10 years or so. This time I wanted something made in the USA and chose Townview based on the reviews and value. I procrastinated for a while debating the size and whether to get lining or not. They fit perfectly and are so soft inside, no lining needed! Feels like putting your feet in "buttah"! I'll probably get a pair in dark brown as well!

These moccasincs are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. Obviously high quality material and very well made. I'm very glad I came across Town View Leather. Excellent product made in America at a reasonable price! I have been recommending to others. Keep up great work. I will definitely order again in the future.

The leather is the most comfortable and conforms to your foot immediately. The last pair I bought lasted years and are still the most comfortable moccasins I have ever worn.
